Our story
“Lavanda Paradise” was born after an amazing journey to northern Italy, where we were first captured by the beauty of lavender fields. It was love at first sight. We set out to create something similar in Moldova. Its fragrance, intense purple color, and the feeling of happiness and purity, made us fall in love with this extraordinary plant. A simple idea at first glance, but really more complex. There are over a hundred lavender varieties, and we have chosen to cultivate the oldest and most appreciated one: Lavandula Angustifolia, known as Lavandula officinalis or, as the English call it, True Lavender. “Lavanda Paradise” is a “Family Story” tied up by a common passion. Each of us is an indispensable part of the business, where love for nature is combined with a passion for creation and perfumery. Although our company is relatively young (founded in 2009), its values are strong and sound. We cultivate this plant, using strict organic technologies, and we are proud to be in harmony with nature. To be organic is not easy, but the passion for naturalness and hard work are the ingredients of a successful family business.

We are among the “Few local producers” of certified organic lavender essential oil. After the lavender plants reach their maturation, we manually harvest them. This allows us to select carefully the most aromatic flowers and obtain their highest-quality essential oil. Then follows the special steam distillation process, which is based on forcing the flowers cells, in which the essential oil is stored, to release oil. This delicate extraction process ensures the preservation of all the beneficial properties of lavender. The productivity is small: 100 kg of floral mass produces approximately 1 kg of lavender essential oil, that is why this oil is also called “purple gold.” The quality is a priority to us, so each batch of lavender essential oil undergoes a rigorous quality control.
